【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifieslightingrequirementsforhumansinindoorworkplaces,whichmeettheneedsforvisualcomfortandperformanceofpeoplehavingnormalophthalmic(visual)capacity.Allusualvisualtasksareconsidered,includingDisplayScreenEquipment(DSE).ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforlightingsolutionsformostindoorworkplacesandtheirassociatedareasintermsofquantityandqualityofillumination.Inadditionrecommendationsaregivenforgoodlightingpractice.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifylightingrequirementswithrespecttothesafetyandhealthofpeopleatworkandhasnotbeenpreparedinthefieldofapplicationofArticle153oftheECtreaty,althoughthelightingrequirements,asspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandard,usuallyfulfilsafetyneeds.LightingrequirementswithrespecttothesafetyandhealthofworkersatworkcanbecontainedinDirectivesbasedonArticle153oftheECtreaty,innationallegislationofmemberstatesimplementingthesedirectivesorinothernationallegislationofmemberstates.ThisEuropeanStandardneitherprovidesspecificsolutions,norrestrictsthedesigners′freedomfromexploringnewtechniquesnorrestrictstheuseofinnovativeequipment.Theilluminationcanbeprovidedbydaylight,artificiallightingoracombinationofboth.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicableforthelightingofoutdoorworkplacesandundergroundminingoremergencylighting.Foroutdoorworkplaces,seeEN12464-2andforemergencylighting,seeEN1838andEN13032-3.
