【摘要】:Thepresenceofinorganicchloridesandsulfatesinoilincontactwithmetalsurfacesinelectricalequipmentcanresultincorrosionoftransformercomponents.Thedeteriorationofmetalsurfacesisdependentuponthequantityofthecorrosiveagentandtheoperatingenvironment.Althoughnotquantitative,thistestmethodisameansforrecognizingthepotentialforsuchahazard.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthequalitativedeterminationofinorganicchloridesandsulfatesinelectricalinsulatingoils.Note1-Itshouldbepointedoutthatifthestrongacids,hydrochloricandsulfuric,arepresent,theywillgivepositiveresultsforchloridesandsulfates,respectively.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
