【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesauniformformatanddefinitionofgeneralvessel-relatedtechnicalinformation,includingshipsafetydata,tobeusedbyshipownersandoperators,attheiroptionandtotheextentthattheyconsiderbeneficialtotheiroperation.Itisrecognizedthatallofthedataisalreadycontainedinvariousdocumentsonthevessel,butnormallynotelectronicallyandnormallynotinonelocation.TheShipSafetyRecordisdesignedtoprovideanindustry-acceptedcommonmethodofidentifying,maintaining,andsubsequentlycommunicatingthesafety-relatedinformationneededformaritimeoperations.Itisrecognizedthatmanyofthedatafieldsarenotapplicableforeveryvessel.AppendixX1andAppendixX2provideexamplesofhowdataelementsinthisguidemaybeusedforaspecificpurpose,thatis,theUSCGsAutomatedIdentificationSystem(AIS)andtheAdvanceNoticeofArrival.
