【摘要】:Metalworkingmaybedividedintotwogeneraltypesofprocesses,metaldeformationandmetalremovalorcutting.Thisclassificationliststhevarioustypesoffluidandnon-fluidmaterialsusedtodirectlycoolandlubricateinbothtypesofmetalworkingprocesses.Itisintendedforusebythoseinmetalworkingorrelatedindustrieswhowanttodifferentiatethesematerials.Itisuptotheuserofthisclassificationtodeterminetherelevanceoftheitemslistedwithrespecttheirapplication.1.1Thisclassificationofmetalworkingfluidsandrelatedmaterialsisdesignedtostandardizeandconsolidatetheterminology,nomenclature,andclassificationoftheseproducts.1.2Metalworkingfluidsincludesbothmetalremovalandformingfluids.Thesearethecoolantsandlubricantsassociatedwithbothtypesofprocesses.1.3Thisclassificationimpliesnoevaluationofproductqualityorsuitabilityforagivenmetalworkingoperation.
