【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheacousticperformanceofthreeclasses(ClassesA,BandC)ofpipeinsulation.Italsospecifiesthreetypesofconstructionthatwillmeettheseacousticperformanceclasses.Furthermore,thisInternationalStandarddefinesastandardizedtestmethodformeasuringtheacousticperformanceofanytypeofconstruction,therebyallowingexistingandnewinsulationconstructionstoberatedagainstthethreeclasses.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletotheacousticinsulationofcylindricalsteelpipesandtotheirpipingcomponents.Itisvalidforpipesupto1mindiameterandaminimumwallthicknessof4,2mmfordiametersbelow300mm,and6,3mmfordiametersfrom300mmandabove.Itisnotapplicabletotheacousticinsulationofrectangularductingandvesselsormachinery.ThisInternationalStandardcoversbothdesignandinstallationaspectsofacousticinsulationandprovidesguidancetoassistnoisecontrolengineersindeterminingtherequiredclassandextentofinsulationneededforaparticularapplication.Itgivestypicalexamplesofconstructionmethods,buttheexamplesareforinformationonlyandnotmeanttobeprescriptive.ThishternationalStandardemphasisestheaspectsofacousticinsulationthataredifferentfromthoseofthermalinsulation,servingtoguideboththeinstallerandthenoisecontrolengineer.DetailsofthermalinsulationarebeyondthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.
