【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationdescribesamethodfordeterminingtheskidresistanceofthepavementsurfaceofaroadorairfield.Thismethoddefinesaprocessforcomparingthefrictionresultsfromanumberofdevices.Bycombiningtogetherthefrictionandtexturefromindividualmeasuringdevices,itallowsskidresistancedeterminedbydifferentdynamicmethodstobeexpressedonacommonscale,namelytheSkidResistanceIndex(SRI).Asitsprecisionhasnotbeendetermined,themethodshouldnotbeusedinspecificationsforsurfacematerials.Thisstandardexcludessurfaceswhentheyareinwinterroadcondition.Italsoexcludesroadmarkingsurfaces.
